At (date above) present, The Red Bistro is not operating an enewsletter subscribe form nor contact form on this site. However, WordPress, our operating platform for this site, does require site users to leave their name and email when leaving comments on pages or posts. This data is held on our host, Siteground, as part of our site files. Siteground operates a rigorous privacy and data protection policy which you can read here. When you leave a comment on our site, you can opt out of WordPress saving your personal data.
How we collect your data
Your identifiable information held by us will have been gathered as information already in the public domain and classed as ‘open source’, or provided by you as a result of an enquiry through our website, a direct purchase, directly by email, social media message, telephone or by you having provided your details at an event, networking event or chance meeting.

We used a third party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our monthly e-newsletters. We gathered statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies. For more information, please see Mailchimp’s privacy notice. The list we held on Mailchimp when we ran our enewsletter has now (as of date above) been deleted. All subscriber personal data records held on this third-party provider for the purposes of sending out enews and our mini course on Mediterranean food has been deleted.
